Five Things I Found Out About the 511 Tactical Belts

I've spent a lot of time reading the manual for the 511 tactical belts and I find that it has the exact same features as any other belt you would buy at Wal-Mart. This makes me wonder if this is a legitimate company or if there are some illegitimate reps out there that are selling something that isn't very good. Here are my findings on this.

The only difference I have seen is that the design is different from other military competition belt. This is pretty standard in many sport belts, and maybe one or two others. Most sport belts are identical to the competition version and that doesn't surprise me. However, this is a different style that may be a bit more unique and this has to be what makes it different.

I suppose the best way to describe the materials used in their belts is that they are of higher quality than most sports belts and most belts from any other company. This would make sense considering their combat vehicles, their UAVs, and all of the equipment they need to be able to go into the field and get the job done. They wouldn't want to rely on inferior materials that may not perform as well or may not hold up as well.

The overall weight that is used is similar to other companies as well. This is definitely a plus for any vest that you buy because you know that it's going to hold up to any type of use.

The material used is also superior and I feel that is why the ones that sell the body armor do so well. There's just nothing like a military style fabric that has the feel of cotton to it to really make you feel like you're a member of the US military.

When I first read this, I didn't think much of it, but then I saw the different model I could order online for comparison. That alone gave me a better understanding of the company.

The only issue I had was the ordering process, which I found to be difficult. After I got over that hurdle, I had the option to purchase from one of two different distributors that offered the same product, so I ordered from both and had them sent to me in the same box.

The way the product looks, fits, and feels is exactly the same as a military type of vest. They're probably not quite as heavy duty as a military one, but they definitely hold up and that makes me feel safe.
