Since an early age, Everardo Rodriguez Bella was impressive, always with a smile and surrounded by friends. As he arrived at school, he'd hug the girls and assure them in a low voice that he will marry them, although he said 'not now'.

He was born in San Juan Omeapa, a municipality of Tixtla, Guerrero, and he is known as 'Kalimba' or 'Kali', supposedly because he looks like the singer.

'Kali is the fourth oldest of 7 siblings. His older sisters, Maria de Jesus and Elizabeth, are married and live in Cuernavaca and Tixtla with their husbands and children. Both are followed by Raul, Everardo, Luis Gustavo, Lucas Leonel and Esveidy Viridiana.

His parents married over 30 years ago. They are Minerva Bello Guerrero and Francisco Rodríguez Morales. They taught Everardo to be independent.

As a child and teenager, Everardo worked the land. 'Mine' his mother said "during harvest time he will be happy working in the field."

"He loves animals and one of the best times of the day is when he goes out on horseback to gather firewood".

His favorite food is salsa of chile verde with onions and fresh tortillas made by himself.

Soccer and music are his passions. Everardo and three brothers are members of the band of San Juan Omeapa and every weekend he is the defense star of the soccer team.

January 5th, 2015, he turned 20 years old. His family is waiting for him to celebrate that birthday.

Desde chiquillo, Everardo Rodríguez Bello, fue tremendo, siempre con una sonrisa y rodeado de amigos. Cuando llega de la escuela, abraza a las chamacas y les asegura que un día de estos se las va a robar pero realmente todavía no piensa en matrimonio.

Es originario de San Juan Omeapa, municipio de Tixtla, Guerrero, y quienes lo conocen le dicen “Kalimba” o “Kali”, supuestamente por su parecido con el cantante.

“Kali” es el cuarto de siete hermanos. Sus hermanas mayores: María de Jesús y Elizabeth se han casado ya, y viven en Cuernavaca y Tixtla, respectivamente, con sus esposos e hijos. Después está Raúl y siguen Everardo, Luis Gustavo, Lucas Leonel y Esveidy Viridiana.

Sus papás, Minerva Bello Guerrero y Francisco Rodríguez Morales, tienen más de 30 años de casados y desde pequeño le enseñaron a valerse por sí mismo.

Durante su niñez y adolescencia trabajó en el campo. Se alquilaba en las épocas de cosecha y según Mine, su mamá, él es feliz trabajando la tierra.

También es amante de los animales, uno de sus mejores momentos del día es cuando va en su caballo a recoger la leña.

Su comida favorita es simple: salsa de chile verde con cebolla y tortillas recién hechas que él mismo cocina.

El futbol y la música son sus pasiones. Everardo y tres de sus hermanos son integrantes de la Banda de San Juan Omeapa y todos los fines es el defensa estrella del equipo de su localidad.

El 5 de enero de 2015 cumplió 20 años, su familia lo espera para festejarlo juntos.
