Christian is the only son of Clemente Rodríguez and Luz María Telumbre; his three sisters are sick in waiting for his return. He grew up in the Santiago neighborhood in Tixtla, Guerrero and was 19 years old when he disappeared.

Tall, semi-dark skin and black eyes, Christian dreams with the idea of studying to make a future for himself and help the family. But what attracted him the most was folkloric dances he practiced since he was a child.

In the 'Casa de Cultura' of Tixla, it is missed the sounds of the heels of the white boots of Christian on the wooden floor.

He danced with the group of folkloric dancers 'Xochiquetzal'. His friends in the group remember him arriving while eating an 'elote' and with a beige backpack carrying his dance shoes. He was called 'Clark', a nickname suggested by his black eyeglasses similar to those worn by the iconic Clark Kent, Superman.

His friends in the 'preparatoria' school 29 called him 'Soncho' or also 'Sonchito'. In the Normal Rural School of Ayotzinapa, he was known as 'Hugo' because he likes to use shirts with the brand name 'Hugo Boss'.

He graduated at the 'preparatory' with an average of 8.74. His teachers remember him as a serious and responsible student.

He applied to Ayotzinapa because he did not have any other option. In reality, he wanted to study veterinary medicine or perhaps become a special education teacher but either means fees for his family that they could not afford.

In the room where Christian practiced dance, we can find his white boots. His teacher keeps them in the hope that Christian will return and all can hear the sounds of his tap dance.

Christian es el único hijo varón de Clemente Rodríguez y Luz María Telumbre y tiene tres hermanas que añoran su regreso. Creció en el barrio de Santiago, en Tixtla, Guerrero, y tenía 19 años cuando desapareció.

Alto, moreno y ojos negros, Christian sueña con estudiar para forjarse un futuro y ayudar a su familia. Pero lo que más le entusiasma es la danza folclórica que practica desde que era niño.

En el salón de la Casa de Cultura de Tixtla donde ensayaba se extraña el golpe del tacón de los botines blancos de Christian sobre el piso de madera.

Él bailaba en el grupo de danza folclórica Xochiquetzal y sus compañeros de baile lo recuerdan cuando llegaba a los ensayos comiendo un elote y con su mochila beige de asa larga cruzada al pecho. Ahí cargaba sus botines de baile. Le decían Clark, apodo ganado por sus anteojos negros de pasta gruesa, similares a los del periodista que se convertía en Superman, Clark Kent.

Sus amigos de la preparatoria 29 le dicen “Soncho” o “Sonchito” y en la escuela normal rural de Ayotzinapa lo conocen como “Hugo” ya que le gusta usar playeras de la marca Hugo Boss.

Se graduó de la preparatoria con un promedio de 8.74 y sus maestros lo recuerdan como un alumno serio y cumplido.

Ingresó a Ayotzinapa porque no tenía otra opción, ya que en realidad deseaba ser veterinario o maestro de educación especial, pero ello implicaba gastos que su familia no podía solventar.

En el salón donde Christian practicaba la danza regional están sus botines blancos, con los que solía ensayar. Su maestro los tiene guardados para cuando él regrese y vuelva a zapatear con ellos la tarima, con el entusiasmo de un gran bailado.
