“Without work, it is impossible to have fun.”
— Saint Thomas Aquinas
Dear Siena Families and Friends,
As we approach the end of the 2024-25 school year, I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has entrusted us with the education and formation of your children.
It has been my joy to visit our schools and see that our young learners are hard at work and enjoying time with their fellow classmates every day. It also fills me with great pride to see our students engaging with their communities by sharing acts of kindness and service. I’d also like to acknowledge our hard-working staff who commit to their vocation day in and day out, as well as classroom staff, building staff, and system leadership. Everyone is united in steering students to reach their full potential. Our entire Siena Catholic Schools community has worked hard all year to support our mission of “inspiring students who God created them to be.”
While the academic school year might be coming to an end, our commitment to our students’ education and well-being does not end in June. Our summer staff are working hard to ensure the betterment of Siena for our students and families, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall.
In the guidance of Our Lord, I’d like to thank Him for guiding us through yet another school year, and for the blessings He has bestowed upon our schools and the Catholic community. Together, let us embrace the adventure of life with Christ, knowing that with Him, all things are possible. I pray that your summer is filled with wonderful memories and well-deserved rest.
Congratulations to our seniors and eighth graders, the Class of 2025. We're so proud of your accomplishments and look forward to your next adventures!
God Bless,
Dr. Sue
P.S. As always, follow Siena on Facebook and get an inside view of our schools through "Dr. Sue's View." Videos are frequently uploaded that illustrate the best our schools have to offer.
Congratulations to the SCHS 2025 Mahone Scholars! We are so proud of you and excited to see what your future brings. We are grateful and blessed by the Mahone family for recognizing our students' gifts and talents.
Eighth graders at OLOGA went to the HALO shelter. Students collected money and organized all the food needed to serve a hot meal to those staying at and working at HALO. They did an amazing job and their work was much appreciated!
Mr. Albiter from 5K had a great day being the Principal!
Mrs. Pedersen's Marketing class at SCHS installed a merchandising display for their final project. Students learned how arrange and design pieces in order to show all the great things their school has to offer!
Freshmen and sophomores at SCHS participated in "Day with a Purpose," a program that calls students to volunteer in their community. This spring, students volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry, Giving to the Nations, Inc., Woof Gang Rescue, Wustum Art Museum, and many more local organizations.
The students of St. Rita enjoyed fun end of the year field trips to Discovery World, Racine Zoo, and the Milwaukee Zoo!
Congratulations to the students from John Paul II Academy in receiving their First Communion!
The students and staff of St. Seb's brought flowers to Mary in the grotto. Deacon Eric led them in crowning Mary and praying a decade of the Rosary.
This month, each day at Our Lady of Grace Academy focused on different letters to celebrate the end of the school year in fun, unique ways! Pictured in order are: Colors Day, Decade Day, and Goldfish Day.
Students took part in the annual Color Run event at St. Lucy. It was a Friday afternoon filled with smiles, laughter and friendships…and colors galore!
The seventh grade class at St. Joe's had their retreat on May 12. The theme was “Servant Leadership”. Students learned how to serve others while also leading others in service. Mrs. Dahlgren and Mrs. Amber (DRE from St Joe's Parish) came to facilitate the day, and Fr. Richter came to end the day with our young learners; he even walked with students back to school!
Students at St. Sebastian and St. Cat's watched the ending of the Papal Conclave and witnessed the election of our new Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV. Students also learned about the process of electing a Pope.
