Dear families and friends of Siena,
Happy 2021! The first weeks of January have already been eventful as we prepared to welcome students, faculty, and staff back to our buildings. Most school districts are now preparing to do the same as we creep closer to the anniversary of closing all schools last March.
Thank you to everyone who responded to our surveys regarding learning choices for February. While we haven't made any decisions about learning choices beyond February, we will continue to monitor our local data, track any positive cases, and communicate with you as we move forward.
We're gearing up for Catholic Schools Week (January 31- February 6), our virtual open houses, and enrollment for the 2021-22 school year. This is our time to celebrate Catholic education in Racine and acknowledge the work put in by our faculty, staff, leadership, parishes, priests, and families. Our mission of educating God's children continues to guide our work in and out of the classroom, and we're thankful for the opportunity to work on behalf of our students.
Blessings in Christ,
Brenda White
President, Siena Catholic Schools of Racine
<<<COMING SOON! One of our favorite parts of Catholic Schools Week is being able to show off our schools to interested families. COVID has changed that, but we are determined to still have a good time by welcoming everyone to our schools virtually!
Our principals and teachers are working hard to create fun, informative videos to share with current and prospective families. We will be sharing these videos in the next two weeks and hope that you will pass them along to your friends!
St. Catherine's Open HouseSiena Catholic Schools of Racine and St. Catherine's High School invite you to attend the Winter Open House on January 25, 2021 beginning at 4:30 p.m. by appointment.
Due to social distancing and measures put in place by State and Local levels, family size will be limited to three people. Families will be given a designated time, every five-10 minutes, to keep distancing in place. Please select a block of time that works best for your family via the above link. An email confirmation, with your specific time, will be sent before the event.
Hi everyone! Just a friendly reminder that we follow RUSD (yes, even when they are virtual) for any snow closures due to our contract with First Student bussing. Once a decision is made about any potential closures, that will be communicated via phone, text, email, social media, and TV stations.
As we get closer to February, it is time to consider enrollment for the 2021-22 school year. Current families have the first round of enrollment by completing one of two steps:
Families that participate in the Racine Parental Choice Program must complete their renewal application between February 1-20, 2021 and submit their proof of residency. The month of February is the only month that will guarantee your child(ren)'s seat in your current school.
Families not participating in the Choice Program will be receiving, by email, an announcement that the 21-22 Tuition Contract(s) is ready no later than Monday, February 15, 2021. Parents will be asked to log into Enrollment Management using their username and password, review, and submit a tuition contract for their child(ren). The deadline to digitally submit contracts is Friday, March 5, 2021.

The Siena Catholic Schools of Racine's annual Stuff the Bus campaign will kick off next week. Our goal is to collect as many essential items as possible--with the hopes of filling an entire school bus--to restock the depleted St. Vincent de Paul food pantry. We have been asked to focus on the most needed items: peanut butter, non-sugary cereal, canned fruit, vegetables and meat, boxed potatoes, and individually wrapped rolls of toilet paper. Items will be collected at school through February 11. Please do not send candy, snacks, sugary cereals, baking supplies, perishables, or products in glass containers. Your generosity is appreciated!
