Dear families and friends of Siena,
It is good to have our students and staff back in our buildings for another school year! The first days filled with nerves are a thing of the past and everyone seems to be settling into their routines.
Our theme this year is "Stronger Together." As we work toward enhanced academic, extracurricular, and faith development at all six of our schools, we are reminded daily of our mission of inspiring students to be who God created them to be.
God bless,
Kimberly Gardner
Chief Advancement Officer, Siena Catholic Schools of Racine
The SOLES Walk for Catholic Education is staying local this year! All six Siena schools will be participating in the walk on Saturday, October 16 at the Siena Retreat Center! The one-mile walk will include Halloween candy stops, music, prizes, and fun! Best of all, ALL PROCEEDS from school fundraising STAY AT YOUR SCHOOL.
Thanks to generous sponsors with the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, the funds each school raises in 2021 will be eligible for a proportional gift match, up to $5,000!
Please register here and then check in with your school's walk captains. Additional information will be shared via your school's weekly newsletter.

All Siena students, faculty, staff, and visitors are required to wear masks at this time. In the event that a positive case is reported, masks greatly diminish the need to quarantine, thus keeping students in school learning.
Families are required to supply clean masks to their students daily.
Welcome back to school! I'm happy to serve as Chief Academic Officer for Siena Catholic Schools. It's been an honor to get to know our staff and students and come back home to a wonderful community! As a St. Edward '94 and St. Catherine's '98 graduate, Siena feels like family.
I value education. I attended North Central College and have a Bachelors Degree in history and recently earned my doctorate from UW-Milwaukee in Urban Education with an emphasis on Curriculum and Instruction.
I value our students. I believe education provides opportunities for our students. Our vision supports our graduates prepared for success in college, career, community, and the Church. My goal is to be of service to our Siena community and to support our mission and vision so students can have the educational opportunities needed to succeed in their chosen path.
I value celebrations. Feel free to join me on Twitter in celebrating our Siena schools. You can tweet including the hashtags #sienaspirit #strongertogether or search existing posts using the same hashtags. Let's recognize and celebrate the works of our students and staff here in our Siena family.
I value family. There's a special bond for those of us who graduated from Siena schools and I'm excited to have more future Angels joining us in that bond in June of 2022.
Blessings,
Parisa
7th grader Christian P. took it upon himself to install new tetherballs and basketball hoops for John Paul II Academy over the weekend. We love to see this level of care for a school community! Thank you, Christian! The Cardinals are blessed to have you in their corner!
(We'll try not to hold that Vikings jersey against you...)
Dr. Susan Savaglio-Jarvis is the new principal at St. Rita Catholic School and she loves to keep her families up-to-speed on life with the Royals. If you haven't had the opportunity already, head on over to the St. Rita Facebook page to watch some of the "Dr. Sue's View" videos!
St. Catherine’s High School has a long-standing tradition of taking time to build community within their classes by doing yearly retreats focused on the Dominican Pillars of study, prayer, service (ministry), and community. Another beloved tradition they have is the focus on caring for others in our community; this day of service is called A Day With A Purpose. On Tuesday, August 31, freshmen and sophomores had class retreats while upperclassmen were at various sites in the community helping with service projects. Please continue to pray for the SCHS community as they reflect and take action!
We want to hear your opinion about the St. Catherine's Black & White Ball. Please take the time to fill out this survey and we will send you an SCHS keychain for your opinion!
You do not have to be a past attendee to fill out the form.

You might have seen the Siena admissions team and various volunteers over the summer, whether at the 2010 Farmers Market, Animal Crackers at the Racine Zoo, Racine First Fridays, or the Kenosha Harbor Market! If you missed them, don't despair as the team is gearing up for a BUSY fall season! School visits, the St. Cat's Open House, private tours of all schools, Party on the Pavement, the SOLES Walk for Catholic Education, Boo at the Zoo...it is all happening!
If you have a recruitment/admissions idea or would like to help spread the word about Siena Catholic Schools, please reach out to admissions@sienacatholicschools.org. And if you have friends or neighbors who might be looking at their educational options, please direct them to the Inquiry Form or have them email/call 262-833-5515.
In 2019, Fr. Frankie Cicero began running a weekly discipleship course at his parish in Mesa, Arizona. He was tired of seeing Christians not knowing who they were, just going through the motions of their faith without joy or conviction, living in slavery to the world and to their past. These courses were richly successful and attracted people not just from his parish, but from all over the Phoenix valley. A team of mission-minded individuals organically formed around this ministry; they saw the Holy Spirit at work and were eager to be apart of it.
Join us on Sunday, October 17, or Monday, October 18 at St. Lucy Catholic Church in Racine!
