Digital Learning for Students

Guidance on how to use digital learning tools for students can be found on the University's Digital Learning for Students web page. This includes a guide to the range of Digital Learning Tools available. Bellow are a selection which are used in the School of Psychology.

Class Collaborate

An online webinar tool which will be used by tutors to facilitate live online lectures and seminar activities. This is accessed in most cases in your Blackboard courses. You can find more information on the University's Class Collaborate web page.

Encore

The University lecture capture service, which also has tools to facilitate interactions within lectures and create your own notes. You can find more information on the University's  Accessing and Viewing your Encore Recordings web page.

Kaltura

Kaltura can be used to submit media work within Blackboard. All students can upload audio and video files into a personal media library. Use Kaltura Capture to create screen recordings, or to record video from your webcam.  You can find more information on the University's Using Kaltura web page.

PebblePad

An electronic portfolio tool that can be used to create reflections and complete workbooks as part of your studies. You can find more information on the University's Using PebblePad web page.

Wooclap

Wooclap allows you to take participate in online quizes or polls. You use it to respond to interactive questions in lectures and seminars using your laptop or mobile device. You can find more information on the University's Using Wooclap web page.
