Blackboard is the University’s virtual learning environment (VLE). It's an internet-based system which allows students flexible access, in a secure environment, to their course. It's the main repository for all taught and administrative material relating to the course. Timetables, lecture notes, handouts and general module information can all be accessed here under the module code or on the group page. As a registered student of the course, you will automatically be enrolled to use Blackboard. Your provisional marks will also be published on Blackboard.
To check your browser compatibility with Blackboard, please see the Blackboard Browser Checker.
You can find more information on the University's Using Blackboard web page.
Turnitin is accessed through the submission portal for each assessment on a Blackboard module site. It's an assessment tool that allows you to submit your work online. It also checks work for originality and allows tutors to provide feedback.
