Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) are tailored safety plans designed to support individuals who may need additional assistance during an emergency evacuation. These plans ensure that everyone – including people with disabilities, temporary injuries, medical conditions, or other specific needs – can leave a building safely and confidently in the event of fire alarms, power outages, or other emergencies.
PEEPs set out the practical steps, resources, and responsibilities needed to keep people safe, offering reassurance to individuals and compliance with legal safety requirements for organisations.
Please get in touch with Dan Tudhope or Mark Johnson if you have any questions.
To create a PEEP, the individual will be invited to a short meeting where they will be guided through a simple form linked below. This ensures that their specific requirements are clearly understood, recorded, and planned for. The process is supportive and practical, focusing on the steps, equipment, or assistance needed so that everyone can evacuate with confidence.
