Student Hub
A portal for all your teaching, learning and support services
What is the Student hub?
The student hub is a secure but restricted section of the Sheffield University website providing extra services and study support that is not viewable on the public section of the website. Essentially, there's three sections to the University website:
Public website (can be viewed by anyone)
Student website (restricted to members of Sheffield University)
Staff website (restricted to members of Sheffield University)
As a student, once you have signed into the University website with your IT (also known as MUSE) account, you can access the student hub to get to resources only visible to University members.

How do I navigate the Student hub?
To access the Student hub, log in to MUSE (My University Student Environment), from the top left-hand corner of the University website using your University username, password and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Once you are logged in you will automatically be directed to the 'Student Hub' section. An additional top bar menu will also be available to you to navigate to sections on:
My services – to access online tools you’re familiar with.
Study – to get academic and assessment support.
Advice and support – to help you with common University tasks and concerns.
Health and wellbeing – to access the University’s health and wellbeing services.
See our quick guide video that gives an example of logging into MUSE, accessing the Student hub and all its features.
Note. The direct web address to the Student Hub is: www.students.sheffield.ac.uk
If you are already logged in to MUSE you will not be asked for your username and password.
