Students attending the Washington, DC Trip must be registered. A $400 down payment must be made to Close-Up by Dec. 6. Email Phelana if you need information about registering.
Thursday, 12/20, 7th Grade Mock Trial, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m., King County Courthouse, 516 3rd Ave, Seattle. This is the culmination of our 2-week “Law School” intensive, and caps our study of the U.S. Constitution. Students will take the bus from school and ride home with families after the event.

This week in Language Arts, 7th graders had a potluck and Project Runway fashion show based on the different Greek deities they've been studying in class. Each student's dish had to be related to their deities in one way or another. When the feast ended, students were given newspaper, tape, and 30 minutes to create costumes for each of their assigned deities. This resulted in a fashion show to display their creative skills. It was impressive to see what they manged to create with just newspaper!
