We kicked off the new year with a dive into the study of climate change. In this unit, we are critically examining data and information from various sources in order to understand how greenhouse gases and human activity impact climate. We are connecting our learning of chemical bonds and chemical reactions from the fall term to understanding the behavior of carbon when hydrocarbons are burned.

What can YOU tell from the data we graphed? In the picture, there are 4 of the same graphs. The green lines represent levels of carbon dioxide, and the red lines represent average global temperatures. These graphs include data from 1997 to 2016.
