Senior Manager of Enrichment Programs
From developing and maintaining EP partnerships, including foundation, university, and non-profit partners to managing all of the EP budget, which is the one of the highest independent expenses in the HS program, Elizabeth does it all. Elizabeth oversees the Enrichment Program process for all 11th Grade Scholars at SEO, which includes research, nomination, application, fundraising, and pre-departure training. She is the foundation of our EP-Team and upholds our standards in providing our scholars with the best opportunities we can offer.
Elizabeth has 15 years of experience working with students in short term settings, with experience ranging from directing ESL camps for international students, to creating a curriculum for Guyanese youth to hold elected leaders responsible, to overseeing U.S. State Department cultural exchanges. The first in her family to study abroad, Elizabeth greatly understands the worries that Scholars and families have with taking on new experiences. Elizabeth consistently tries to find a balance between being an empathetic leader and holding Scholars to a high standard. Elizabeth speaks Spanish proficiently and is happy to talk with your caregivers in English or Spanish. Elizabeth has a M. ED in International Education Policy from Harvard's Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in Spanish and International Relations from Suffolk University.
