At the University of Rochester, students pursue only what they’re interested in. With Rochester’s Pre-College Programs, high school students get that same freedom. Students who participate in Pre-College Programs get a true sense of college life, increase their appreciation of cultural diversity, and build lasting relationships with peers. Students will gain on their academic abilities and potential, and explore career possibilities. The University of Rochester’s Pre-College Programs offer current high school students a wide range of academic programs and a true sense of college life.
Our full day intensive studies are three weeks in length and focus on one area of study, and are reflective of Rochester’s most popular majors. Students will learn from academic departments about different paths within that subject matter. Half day non-credit courses are offered for one or two weeks and will give students the opportunity to choose from a variety of disciplines. Students can explore the flexible Rochester curriculum and learn what they love with like minded peers.
