SICK LEAVE
Full time employees will receive sick leave for a maximum of twelve (12) days per fiscal year (July to June). Upon leaving employment with SEDC, employees may receive payment of $30.00 for each accrued unused sick leave day up to a maximum of sixty (60) days. If an employee's accrued leave is insufficient to cover an approved absence the employee will be placed in unpaid leave status (See SEDC Code 203) and the employee's salary will be deducted in the payroll month it was taken.
