 The Rann Utsav festival takes place every year in Kutch, Gujrat. So, after studying and understanding the site I noticed the site is surrounded by sand dunes and People visit the place to enjoy the scenery and to enjoy different rides happening there like hot air balloon, paramotoring and the cultural events. So, I wanted to enhance the landscape around and thought about the space which would merge with the landscape and not stand out. And also, at the same time people can enjoy the view around. So, I started noticing the sand dunes on the site and thought of making a structure like sand dunes. So, I started creating steps which will give a look of sand dunes and a space which will act as an amphitheater when the event goes on and when it's not it will act as a sitting space or a waiting area. So, I created the step on both sides and between these two-sand dune-like steps there is a lobby-like space where the ticketing counter happens for the activities around. And inside those two structures the services happen like kitchen for cafeteria and a public toilet. One can climb the steps to reach the deck. Where the cafeteria sitting happens and a viewing deck where one can enjoy the view. The deck seems like it is floating on the two sand dunes as the down structure is little inside and the deck flows off the structure.
