The intent is to create a temporal interphase that plugs in the gap between the ghats and the temple to acclimate one to the surroundings. Using the language of the ghats itself to do so and referring to the form of a causeway which is a form of bridge that has solidness to it, which the ghats also have.
The formwork of the intervention is derived by laying a grid over the rectangular shape that a causeway has, using the rectangular modules

Identifying spaces which can hold different activities or gestures of body movement
Each level in the structure gives different kind of experience as one walks through it, not following the idea if a conventional cafe instead an eatery that happens here with local food served . A Chai stall 'tapri' near the temple.
The seating for this cafe happen through the language of steps, reflecting on the appearance of the Ghats. A flower vendors stall at the entrance where the ghat grows into the structure
