Scholars explore a number of topic areas to build a strong knowledge base that addresses issues of Native American and Indigenous learners with and without disabilities. You will find those topics on this page, as well as a link to Kumeyaay specific resources, which are critical for scholars and educators working with our local Native youth.
For each topic area on this page, there are links to resources available online (e.g. articles, ppts), recommendations for further knowledge building (e.g. books, movies), and descriptions of in person learning opportunities (e.g. coursework, peer to peer learning) that scholars have used to continue building their knowledge of working with Native American and Indigenous youth.
We welcome feedback, input, and ideas for additional resources on our community input page .
