St. Dominic College of Asia continues to gain international recognition as the institution once again earned a Rank #1 distinction in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2026, marking a back-to-back achievement following its 2025 recognition.
In 2025, SDCA ranked #1 in SDG-Based Responses to Global Challenges among 4,866 university innovation cases worldwide through the project โTubig (Water) is Lifeโ led by Dr. Joel G. Matamis, Dean of the School of Medical Laboratory Sciences.
This 2026, SDCA earned another Rank #1 recognition in the University-Based Entrepreneurial Projects category among 13,211 university innovation cases worldwide through the project โSea Veilโ by Dr. Wendell L. Galapate, Director for Research Innovations and Development Enterprise.
