6th International Multidisciplinary Research Conference (IMRC) 2026 and STARDOM Awards 2026 March 12, 2026 | DRA Hall, St. Dominic College of Asia | Hybrid Event
The 6th International Multidisciplinary Research Conference (IMRC) 2026, organized by the Research, Extension, and Linkages (REL) Office through the Research Innovation Development and Enterprise (RIDE), was successfully conducted on March 12, 2026 at the DRA Hall, St. Dominic College of Asia, and via virtual platforms. The conference was held as part of the institution’s REL Week celebration and carried the theme “SPARK: Sustainable Partnerships for Academic Research and Knowledge Engagement.”
The event aimed to strengthen academic collaboration, research dissemination, innovation promotion, and partnership building among researchers, faculty members, students, industry partners, and international academic institutions. The conference served as a platform for scholars and professionals to share research findings, explore interdisciplinary collaboration, and highlight innovative solutions to societal challenges.
The opening program featured the President’s Welcome Message by Dr. Gregorio A. Andaman Jr. and a Message of Support from Dr. Nilda W. Balsicas, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Research, Extension, and Linkages. Their messages emphasized the institution’s commitment to strengthening research culture and fostering sustainable partnerships in knowledge creation and community development.
A major highlight of the event was the STARDOM 2026: Excellence in Research, Innovation, and Partnerships Awards, spearheaded by Dr. Wendell L. Galapate, Director of the Research Innovation Development and Enterprise (RIDE) and Dr. Eleonor Aguilando for the Innovation of Commercialized, Technology and Patents output. The awards recognized outstanding contributions of individuals, media organizations, and institutions that promote research communication, public awareness, and social impact through media, journalism, and innovation initiatives. Distinguished awardees included respected media personalities, journalists, and organizations that have significantly contributed to the dissemination of research-based information and public education.
