Abstract
The demand for radiologic technologists is expanding in both clinical practice and academia, particularly in remote parts of the country. This tracer study utilized the descriptive research design. Twenty-seven (27) BSRT Alumni who were part of the graduating Batch 2015 to 2017 took part in this research. The researcher used a questionnaire which comprises of four parts: respondents’ profile, performance in the radiologic technologists’ licensure examinations, current employment status, and participation to continuing professional development. The study revealed that the graduates of St. Dominic College of Asia possess the skills and competencies necessary in this very competitive working place. The results of the research highlighted the importance of education providers in the sector. Through job fairs, career guidance, or sessions on job search strategies, they have the potential to play a significant role in preparing students to find work. To build their feeling of responsibility and leadership, the BSRT faculty may encourage students to be more motivated to work hard and persevere in whatever assignment or project is assigned to them. Student competencies may be further strengthened through exposure to different training facilities. Furthermore, attending to other related training and seminars will further advanced their knowledge in the health profession.
