Abstract
With the modern times, every person can be mistaken into being tired, stressed, and fatigued for all different reasons. Because of that, some people cannot really understand one another because of the on-going bias when one is tired, stressed, or even fatigued, not knowing whether other people`s fatigue are caused by a physical or a mental exhaustion. This study determined the effects of fatigue management training on the emotional stability of the selected college students of St. Dominic College of Asia. To give light on its phasing, it involves giving a pre-test of assessing emotions scale to students taking the courses under the School of Arts, Sciences, and Education. With a given criteria, the researchers were able to get 22 participants through a fishbowl method to determine who will be under the two groups. After determining the groupings through randomization, the controlled group has 11 participants, but the group has not received any kind of treatment. On the other hand, the experimental group, which also has 11 participants, has received the treatment, which is the fatigue management training. After receiving continuous sessions, the participants were given a post-test of assessing emotions scale to know if they became emotionally stable after the treatment. The researchers attained a 0.000 level of significance for controlled group (t32=-8.24, P=0.00) and a 0.000 level of significance for the experimental group (t32=-20.76, P=0.00). These results conclude that fatigue management training has an effect on the stability of the participants.
