Abstract
This study examined the extent of the implementation of the OBE Approach through the perceptions and viewpoints of the faculty members and students as the key entrants of the said educational instructional process. A descriptive research design survey questionnaire was developed to gather information and the data were analyzed using frequency and percentage. Fifty-five (55) faculty members and one-hundred twenty (120) students were utilized as respondents of the study. The findings of the study revealed that both faculty members and students have shared mostly positive perception regarding this approach. The researchers noticed that students have adjusted to the changes as regards to OBE because they were given much works that need knowledge applications, as well as for faculty members who are not only to adapt the grading systems, assessments, and evaluations, but as well the teaching styles that they developed. The study suggested that the institution should have various orientations, workshops, and trainings for the faculty members to be well-informed and versed on the principles of the OBE approach. It is also recommended that upon practice of OBE activities; facilities, equipment, and other resources should be made available for the usage of the teachers and students, in addition to participating in the future amendments on curriculum, syllabi, and instructional activities.
