Abstract
Mathematical literacy in our everyday lives is a basic skill that helps us in various ways. The research examines how people use mathematical reasoning to face the ordinary challenges of everyday life. Improving mathematical literacy enhances the ability to solve problems. This often results in better experiences and decision-making. With the rising popularity of technology, the call for mathematical literacy in daily life continues to be a must. This paper presents the role of mathematical literacy in the 21st century and how it affects individuals and culture. Consequently, this paper discusses the current trends and condition of mathematical literacy in the 21st century.
