A general view of task-based approach to teaching language

Abstract
More teachers across all subject areas have been exploring ways to improve the conventional modes of instruction in recent years. They have sought at strategies for making the classroom more student-centered and have delved into the various ways that students might take more initiatives in learning and knowledge processing. Task-based Approach (TBA) is one of them. This paper endeavors to introduce its theoretical bases, teaching principles, teaching procedures and evaluations to present a general idea about TBA to teaching language.
