Abstract
Clinical teaching plays a vital role in the health professions education. This will help the student nurses in the transition from academia to the real world of practice in the medical institutions. To facilitate learning, the clinical teacher/instructor should know and establish their main roles and responsibilities. They should have an expertise in their field, a positive attitude towards the profession and teaching, and must have clinical teaching skills. In addition to this, a clinical instructor may utilize different clinical teaching strategies such as bedside teaching, ward rounds or direct and indirect patient contact. This study determined the knowledge of Bachelor of Science in Nursing Fourth Year students on Nursing Documentation on patient chart before and after the implementation of one-on-one bedside teaching and was done using a Descriptive research design. The student’s knowledge on Nursing Documentation based on the result of pre-test exam is “Fair” and post-test is “Above average” in analysis and interpretation.
