Success of the JAPI Program in 2010-2014 and its contribution to the entrepreneurial skills of the B.A. Third- and Fourth-year Students of SDCA

Abstract
Not all schools have the privilege of joining the Junior Achievement of the Philippines, Inc., or JA Philippines as it is now called. The Business Administration (BA) students from the School of Business and Computer Studies (SBCS) of St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) has been so privilege for having been given the opportunity since 2010 to establish the "Mr. Tatahong" Mini-Company. Other Mini-Companies followed suit like the "Red Corps", "KAPA" Enterprises, "Musa Generis Concepts", "Parrot's Beak" and many others. The study assessed the success of the JAPI Program, not only for the BA students, but also for SDCA and SBCS as well as their experiences by setting up their own Mini-Companies which contributed to their entrepreneurial skills after having undergone the Program. Descriptive research was used in the study. A researcher-made questionnaire was utilized and was answered by one hundred (100) fourth year graduating students as the respondents.
