The Constable Sarah Beckett Memorial Scholarship (CRD Traffic Safety Division)
This $2000 scholarship will be awarded to a post-secondary student based on demonstrated academic achievement, financial need, community service record, and an expressed interest in pursuing a career in law enforcement. Bill Freding Memorial Entrance Award - Agriculture Award
One $5,000 award will be awarded annually to a first year student in the Applied Sustainable Ranching program (Thompson Rivers University—Williams Lake Campus) in memory of Bill Freding, a pioneer in the agriculture industry with a passion for lifelong learning and giving back to the community and industry he loved. The successful recipient will also receive a further $1,000 award from Doug Haughton, also in memory of Bill.

Victoria Operatic Society
This $500 scholarship is awarded to a student who has demonstrated talent in the performing arts. These areas include performance (singing, dancing, and acting), backstage production (lighting design, costume design, make-up, scenery construction, stage management) or any other area of performing arts production.

DeBeers Group Scholarships
Four scholarships offered through Scholarship Canada for women entering Year One of a STEM or STEM-related program (such as nursing, medicine, accounting or information technology) at a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution. Scholarships are renewable. Additional preference given to Indigenous women from the Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Northern Ontario, and Southern Alberta. They also offer four additional scholarships for women attending the University of Calgary and four scholarships for women attending the University of Waterloo.

Live Your Dream Awards issued by Soroptimist International of Victoria Westshore are $1,500 each. This award provides aid to women who provide primary financial support (for yourself and your dependents). Dependents can include children, spouse, partner, siblings and/or parents.

BC Creative Scholarship
$3,000 scholarships are offered to students from BC who may be interested in the Audio Engineering & Production / DJ Arts or the Film & TV Production and Post-Production programs in Toronto. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents currently residing in BC who will be at least 18 years of age and have graduated from high school on or before June 30, 2023. Please note there are three intakes for this program, and three opportunities to apply for scholarships (May 8, 2023, Aug 7, 2023 and Nov 13, 2023).

CUPE BC AUBREY BURTON/REG FORD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Aubrey Burton/Reg Ford Memorial Scholarship is for a student whose parent/guardian is a member in good standing of a CUPE Local affiliated to CUPE BC. To be eligible, the applicant must also have completed Grade 12 in the current or previous calendar year, or the applicant must be a mature student who has not previously enrolled at a Post-Secondary Institution, be entering first year of a recognized public post-secondary institution in BC
(a copy of the acceptance letter from the admitting institution must be supplied). The applicant must complete an online application form supported by copies of the Senior Secondary Statement and Letter(s) of Reference from a School Principal or Counsellor.
Five hundred dollar ($500) scholarships will be awarded to each of the following:
1. One attending a public University (applicant with the highest GPA).
2. One attending a public Community College (applicant with the highest GPA).
3. One attending a public trades or technical institution (applicant with the highest GPA).
4. One based on a “lottery draw” of all applications.
