The Fraser MacPherson Music Scholarship
Scholarships valued up to $500 are available for BC musicians and instrumentalists. Scholarship awards must be spent on materials or services which directly further the education of the recipient (i.e. lessons, instruments, music materials, etc.)

"Live Your Dream" Award - Soroptimist International of Victoria Westshore
Live Your Dream Awards, issued by Soroptimist International of Victoria Westshore, are $1,500 each. This award provides aid to women who provide primary financial support (for yourself and your dependents). Dependents can include children, spouse, partner, siblings and/or parents.

Queen's University Major Admission Awards
Students wishing to be considered for a Major Entrance Scholarship will need to apply for admission to Queen’s via the Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC) by no later than November 20th to submit your MAA application by December 8th.

"Kwetlal" Award - Soroptimist International of Victoria Westshore
The Kwetlal Award was created by Soroptimist International of Victoria Westshore to assist women who self-identify as Indigenous to improve their education, skills, and employment prospects. The recipients may use the $1500 cash award to offset any costs associated with their efforts to attain higher education, such as books, tuition, and transportation.

"Give Her Wings" Educational Award - Soroptimist International of Victoria Westshore
The Give Her Wings Award was created by Soroptimist International of Victoria Westshore to assist young women who have transitioned out of the Foster Care system in British Columbia with furthering their education. This $1500 Educational Award can be used to offset any costs associated with their efforts to attain higher education, such as books, tuition and transportation.

UBC Major Entrance Scholarships (The application window closes December 1st)
Students wishing to be considered for a Major Entrance Scholarship must submit their online application by December 1st. This includes paying the admission fee and submitting grade 11 and 12 marks as requested in the application.

Terry Fox Humanitarian Award
This award is open to students of all abilities. To be considered, applicants must meet be in good academic standing, Canadian citizens or landed immigrants, and applying for a degree/diploma at a Canadian college/university. Recipients are selected for their dedication to the humanitarian ideals of Terry Fox, their courage in overcoming obstacles, and definite marks of distinction and persistence in the pursuit of excellence in academic, athletic, and civic life. These students are involved in activities or organizations that improve human welfare, make a difference, and have a positive impact on their community and others. Candidates may face different types of obstacles. Financial need is not in itself a criteria of the award. It can, however, be included as an obstacle. The maximum value of the award is $28,000 dispersed over four years. The application process opens in November.

Launchpad Scholarship by Tundra Technical
Tundra Technical Solutions is a global IT and engineering staffing firm that would like to jump start your university career with a chance to win $1,500 towards a STEM program of your choice. This scholarship is open to female identifying or non-binary students who are interested in pursuing a career in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).

Burger King Scholars Program
Applicants need to demonstrate active volunteering in their communities, in sport, faith groups, clubs, or other organizations. There are two options for this scholarship, one for employees and one for non-employees.

Beedie Luminaries Scholarship
The purpose of this scholarship is to assist resilient BC students who face financial adversity and who have the academic readiness to advance their education, achieve their dreams, and inspire others. Students must also have a minimum grade average of 75% in their most recently completed school year.
140 scholarships were offered in 2022 averaging $11,000 per school year (university, college, and/or trades)

Health Sciences Scholarship/Bursary Applications
Over thirty $750-$1500 scholarships are available to children of HSA members (Health Sciences Association).

Schulich Leader Scholarships (***Students are encouraged to start this application early to ensure it is thoroughly completed by the due date.)
Applications for the Schulich Leader Scholarships are now open. Twenty undergraduate scholarships (of $100,000-$120,000 each) are available for students intending to enroll in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) areas of study at a minimum of one of the 20 selected universities.
Students must be planning a career in one or more of the following areas: technology, engineering, entrepreneurship and business enterprise, applied scientific research. Students are selected by their individual schools and must possess at least two of the three criteria listed:
1. Outstanding community, business, or entrepreneurial leadership
2. Academic excellence
3. Financial need

A 600 word essay demonstrating why you should win
An optional 250 word essay that outlines any extenuating circumstances (optional)

RE/MAX Quest for Excellence
The Quest for Excellence Program recognizes the pursuits in leadership and community contributions of Western Canadian students. High school students graduating from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon and Northwest Territories are encouraged to write an essay to convey the contributions they have made to enrich the lives of others and their communities through leadership, motivation, volunteering and participation in charitable events or fundraising.

BC Creative Scholarship
$3,000 scholarships are offered to students from BC who may be interested in the Audio Engineering & Production / DJ Arts or the Film & TV Production and Post-Production programs in Toronto. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents currently residing in BC who will be at least 18 years of age and have graduated from high school on or before June 30, 2023. Please note there are three intakes for this program, and three opportunities to apply for scholarships.
