RE/MAX 2024 Quest for Excellence
RE/MAX Canada is now accepting submissions for the 2024 RE/MAX Quest for Excellence scholarship program, which is open from September 12th, 2023 through to March 13th, 2024.
The annual program awards a $1,000 scholarship to 40 graduating high-school students in Canada, presented during their commencement ceremonies.
The 2024 Quest for Excellence program invites eligible students to write and submit an essay based on one of three key themes:
charitable community contribution
the vision for a “brighter future”
ensuring future generations have a safe, secure, and affordable place to call “home”

The Loran Scholars Foundation (**Students are encouraged to start this application early to ensure it is thoroughly completed.)
Students who are dedicated to serving others, show promise of leadership, and have integrity, courage, compassion, grit, and a high level of personal autonomy are encouraged to apply.
Applicants are eligible for one of 36 Loran Awards (each valued at $100,000 over four years of undergraduate studies), or one of 95 finalist/provincial awards ($5,000 or $2,000 each, respectively) to promising candidates.

TD Scholarships for Community Leadership (**Students are encouraged to start this application early to ensure it is thoroughly completed by the due date.)
Twenty scholarships, valued up to $70,000 each, are offered to students across Canada who are in their final year of high school, have a minimum overall grade of 75% in their most recently completed school year, and have demonstrated outstanding community leadership.
Applicants are students who show exceptional initiative, make a meaningful and lasting difference in their community, support change, nurture progress, and contribute to making the world a better place.

Schulich Leader Scholarships (***Students are encouraged to start this application early to ensure it is thoroughly completed by the due date.)
Applications for the Schulich Leader Scholarships are now open. Twenty undergraduate scholarships (of $100,000-$120,000 each) are available for students intending to enroll in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) areas of study at a minimum of one of the 20 selected universities.
Students must be planning a career in one or more of the following areas: technology, engineering, entrepreneurship and business enterprise, applied scientific research. Students are selected by their individual schools and must possess at least two of the three criteria listed:
1. Outstanding community, business, or entrepreneurial leadership
2. Academic excellence
3. Financial need
If you are interested in becoming Royal Bay's nominee, drop by the RBSS Counselling suite and/or email your alpha school counsellor.
Please submit the following (Schulich-based) information package to the Counselling Suite by Friday, January 12th, 2024 in order to give the RBSS Scholarship Team time to meet and select a student to represent Royal Bay before the January 30, 2024 deadline.
Identify the 2 or 3 universities you wish to attend
A list of your top three achievements (academic or other)
A 600 word essay demonstrating why you should win
An optional 250 word essay that outlines any extenuating circumstances (optional)
A short answer statement to identify where you see yourself in 10 years
Two single-page letters of reference that include email and telephone contact information for verification
A copy of your latest transcript (Access this via Student Transcript Service (STS))
