This $500 scholarship is awarded to a student who has demonstrated talent in the performing arts. These areas include performance (singing, dancing, and acting), backstage production (lighting design, costume design, make-up, scenery construction, stage management) or any other area of performing arts production.

DeBeers Group Scholarships
Four scholarships offered through Scholarship Canada for women entering Year One of a STEM or STEM-related program (such as nursing, medicine, accounting or information technology) at a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution. Scholarships are renewable. Additional preference given to Indigenous women from the Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Northern Ontario, and Southern Alberta. They also offer four additional scholarships for women attending the University of Calgary and four scholarships for women attending the University of Waterloo.

Metchosin Foundation Scholarships for Academic Achievement, or Community Service, or Environmental Stewardship
Three $1,000 scholarships are being made available by the Metchosin Foundation to graduating Canadian Grade 12 students who live in Metchosin / Beecher Bay. These are in the areas of:
Academic Achievement: awarded to a qualified applicant who displays high academic achievement. Evaluations of academic performance will be weighted by the difficulty of program and course choices.
Community Citizenship: awarded to a qualified applicant demonstrating significant involvement/leadership in activities important to social health and community support. Relevant activities might include work with school or other bodies of governance, involvement in social justice issues, senior care, child care, and community service work with organizations such as food banks, hospitals, churches, charities, libraries, animal welfare organizations, children’s camps and clubs, etc.
Environmental Stewardship: awarded to a qualified applicant demonstrating concern for environmental issues. Volunteer work on environmental projects and relevant classroom projects will be a principle consideration. Projects might include work on recycling, ecosystem restoration, wild animal care, pollution reduction and remediation, renewable energy sources, etc.

Metchosin Foundation Scholarship - Moralea Milne Beecher Bay (Sc'ianew) Community
This scholarship will be awarded to a qualified applicant who is a member of the Beecher Bay First Nation and who has an interest in pursuing an educational program or learning opportunity.

Horatio Alger Vocational and Technical Education Scholarships
25 Scholarships of up to $3,000 are awarded to students who have completed high school (or earned high school equivalency credential), enrolled in a 3 years or less career or technical degree/certificate program in fall, demonstrated critical financial need and demonstrated perseverance in overcoming adversity.

Bill Freding Memorial Entrance Award - Agriculture Award
One $5,000 award will be awarded annually to a first year student in the Applied Sustainable Ranching program (Thompson Rivers University—Williams Lake Campus) in memory of Bill Freding, a pioneer in the agriculture industry with a passion for lifelong learning and giving back to the community and industry he loved. The successful recipient will also receive a further $1,000 award from Doug Haughton, also in memory of Bill.

The Constable Sarah Beckett Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to a post-secondary student based on demonstrated academic achievement, financial need, and who is enrolled and about to begin studies, or currently studying a program leading to a law enforcement career in a recognized Canadian post-secondary education institution.

BC Council of Forest Industries Forestry Scholarship
The BC Council of Forest Industries is proud to announce that it is accepting applications for the Forestry Scholarship. Part of COFI’s mission is to support students pursuing post-secondary education or training in a skilled trades program associated with the forest industry. COFI is proud to award twelve $1500 scholarships.

Herman Rebneris Student Carpentry Award
This $500 award is given to a student in a Vancouver Island secondary school who has participated in a carpentry program. VRBA will recognize the commitment to those learning the carpentry trade by offering the award to help the student buy "the tools of the trade".

Royal Canadian Legion Prince Edward Branch 91 Bursary (#91 Langford Station)
Financial Need bursaries are awarded to students attending facilities on a full-time basis for two consecutive semesters. Priority is given to children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Veterans and Ex-Service Personnel. Applicants are permitted to submit applications for Branch Bursaries and Sir Percy Scholarships, however an applicant may only receive one award. Engineers and Geoscientists BC Scholarships
The Engineers and Geoscientists BC Foundation offers several entry scholarships to British Columbia high school graduates entering engineering or earth science programs at the University of British Columbia, University of Victoria, Simon Fraser University, British Columbia Institute of Technology, and the University of Northern British Columbia. The entrance scholarships valued at $2,500, are awarded based on a combination of factors, including academic standing, extracurricular activities, financial need, and a student statement.

CUPE BC AUBREY BURTON/REG FORD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Aubrey Burton/Reg Ford Memorial Scholarship is for a student whose parent/guardian is a member in good standing of a CUPE Local affiliated to CUPE BC. To be eligible, the applicant must also have completed Grade 12 in the current or previous calendar year, or the applicant must be a mature student who has not previously enrolled at a Post-Secondary Institution, be entering first year of a recognized public post-secondary institution in BC
(a copy of the acceptance letter from the admitting institution must be supplied). The applicant must complete an online application form supported by copies of the Senior Secondary Statement and Letter(s) of Reference from a School Principal or Counsellor.
Five hundred dollar ($500) scholarships will be awarded to each of the following:
1. One attending a public University (applicant with the highest GPA).
2. One attending a public Community College (applicant with the highest GPA).
3. One attending a public trades or technical institution (applicant with the highest GPA).
4. One based on a “lottery draw” of all applications.

The Reflections Scholarship supports students who have lived experience with an eating disorder by helping them pursue their academic and career goals through education. It is awarded in recognition of someone's strength and courage in facing their eating disorder as well as their enthusiasm and tenacity for their chosen academic path and the career they plan to follow.

World Cups Society Festival Scholarship
This scholarship is open to graduating students who have been a Lower Island Soccer Player for the 23/24 season. Applicants will show community engagement in soccer or other relevant areas as well as proof of post-secondary enrollment in any academic programming.
