Beacon Community Services Scholarship
This $1500 scholarship is open to graduating students who demonstrate exemplary volunteerism or community service. At least some of a candidate’s leadership or volunteer/community service must be identified as having been done within an area covered by Beacon’s geographic boundaries.

Save on Foods Joint Diversity Scholarship
Up to ten $1,000 scholarships are available and will be awarded to applicants who have promoted diversity awareness and acceptance in their community and have not previously received the Joint Diversity Scholarship. This scholarship is available to students who are BC residents and are going to be pursuing post-secondary education at an accredited institution within the province of BC in the fall.

Sooke Principals' and Vice-Principals' Association (SPVPA) Bursary
Annual scholarships will be awarded to one student graduating from each of our district secondary schools. In addition, one scholarship will be awarded to recognize a graduate with Indigenous ancestry.
This is awarded to students who have done well in school work, participated in aspects of school life (clubs, sports, leadership, music, theatre, etc.), been involved in outside of school activities, registered (or will be registering) for post-secondary.

Several scholarships are available for students of Indigenous ancestry living within specified regions. CFAX Santas Anonymous Society
The CFAX Santas Anonymous Society Student Bursary aims to provide financial relief to deserving young individuals with preference to those who demonstrate a commitment to community service through volunteerism.
Five bursaries of $2000 each will be granted to contribute towards tuition fees at post-secondary institutions within Greater Victoria for the academic year 2024 – 2025.

Rick & Amanda Hansen Scholarship for Youth with Disabilities
The Rick & Amanda Hansen Scholarship for Youth with Disabilities provides financial support to Canadian youth with disabilities to pursue post-secondary education and realize their full potential. Funding of up to $10,000 per year (up to a maximum of $40,000) is available for youth with disabilities looking to complete a 1- to 4-year post-secondary program at a publicly funded institution in Canada. The Medavie Health Foundation Scholarship
Up to five scholarships of $5,000 each will be awarded this year to youth who are living with a mental health challenge of their own or that of a family member and are pursuing health-related post-secondary studies at a recognized Canadian university or community college and plan to pursue a career in their health-related field of studies (medical school, nursing, psychology, kinesiology, physiotherapy, nutrition, paramedicine, chiropractic care, public health, health research, etc.). Each scholarship will be renewable for up to three additional years, subject to continued eligibility.

CUPE BC AUBREY BURTON/REG FORD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Aubrey Burton/Reg Ford Memorial Scholarship is for a student whose parent/guardian is a member in good standing of a CUPE Local affiliated to CUPE BC. To be eligible, the applicant must also have completed Grade 12 in the current or previous calendar year, or the applicant must be a mature student who has not previously enrolled at a Post-Secondary Institution, be entering first year of a recognized public post-secondary institution in BC
(a copy of the acceptance letter from the admitting institution must be supplied). The applicant must complete an online application form supported by copies of the Senior Secondary Statement and Letter(s) of Reference from a School Principal or Counsellor.
Five hundred dollar ($500) scholarships will be awarded to each of the following:
1. One attending a public University (applicant with the highest GPA).
2. One attending a public Community College (applicant with the highest GPA).
3. One attending a public trades or technical institution (applicant with the highest GPA).
4. One based on a “lottery draw” of all applications.

Reflections Scholarship
The Looking Glass Foundation supports individuals affected by eating disorders through accessible programs and services, one of which is the Reflections Scholarship.
Each year, the Looking Glass Foundation awards several thousand dollars to BC undergraduate students who have accessed (or are currently accessing) support for an eating disorder and are ready for academic pursuit. To be eligible, the applicant must be a permanent resident of BC, a full-time student enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution in Canada, currently accessing, or have previously accessed, support for an eating disorder, demonstrate a strong need for financial assistance in order to achieve their academic goals
