University of Toronto National Book Award
The University of Toronto National Book Award Program recognizes and rewards the very best Canadian secondary school students, regardless of which university those students choose to attend.
These students demonstrate superior academic performance, original and creative thought, and exceptional achievement in a broad context. They excel in academic pursuits, demonstrate enthusiasm for intellectual exploration and have a strong involvement in the lives of their schools and communities.
It is necessary that the student intend to apply for admission to the University of Toronto.
The book will be presented to the student at their secondary school graduation ceremony at the end of the school year.

Tom Finnie Indigenous Trades Bursary
This bursary is in memory of Tom Finnie and in recognition of his commitment to his community and the communities he served. Students wishing to be considered for one of the bursaries will need confirm that they are of indigenous ancestry and are entering a trades program within 2 years of receiving the award. Six bursaries are awarded within BC in the amount of $2,500 each.

Twenty-five scholarships are available annually, valued up to $60,000 each over four years. The scholarships are open to First Nation, Metis and Inuit who are members / citizen of a First Nation, Metis or Inuit community who:
● have applied for a full-time minimum 2-year program with an approved post-secondary institution for the next year of study; or
● are enrolled in, or accepted to, a full-time minimum two-year program with an approved post-secondary institution for the next year of study

The Loran Scholars Foundation (**Students are encouraged to start this application early to ensure it is thoroughly completed.)
Students who are dedicated to serving others, show promise of leadership, and have integrity, courage, compassion, grit, and a high level of personal autonomy are encouraged to apply.
Applicants are eligible for one of 36 Loran Awards (each valued at $100,000 over four years of undergraduate studies), or one of 95 finalist/provincial awards ($5,000 or $2,000 each, respectively) to promising candidates.

West Gen Education Awards
WestGen’s Education Awards are available to post-secondary students from Western Canada who are pursuing studies in agriculture or veterinary medicine. Applicants must be a WestGen member or son/daughter of a WestGen member. Four $2000.00 awards are offered each fall.

The Fraser MacPherson Music Scholarship
Scholarships valued up to $500 are available for BC musicians and instrumentalists. Scholarship awards must be spent on materials or services which directly further the education of the recipient (i.e. lessons, instruments, music materials, etc.)

TD Scholarships for Community Leadership (**Students are encouraged to start this application early to ensure it is thoroughly completed by the due date.)
Twenty scholarships, valued up to $70,000 each, are offered to students across Canada who are in their final year of high school, have a minimum overall grade of 75% in their most recently completed school year, and have demonstrated outstanding community leadership.
Applicants are students who show exceptional initiative, make a meaningful and lasting difference in their community, support change, nurture progress, and contribute to making the world a better place.

UBC Major Entrance Scholarships (The application process opens October 1st.)
Students wishing to be considered for a Major Entrance Scholarship must submit their online application by December 1st. This includes paying the admission fee and submitting grade 11 and 12 marks as requested in the application.

Launchpad Scholarship by Tundra Technical
Tundra Technical Solutions is a global IT and engineering staffing firm that would like to jump start your university career with a chance to win $1,500 towards a STEM program of your choice. Burger King Scholars Program
Applicants need to demonstrate active volunteering in their communities, in sport, faith groups, clubs, or other organizations. There are two options for this scholarship, one for employees and one for non-employees.

Queen's University Major Admission Awards
Students wishing to be considered for a Major Entrance Scholarship will need to apply for admission to Queen’s via the Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC) by no later than November 20th to submit your MAA application by December 8th.

Schulich Leader Scholarships (***Students are encouraged to start this application early to ensure it is thoroughly completed by the due date.)
Applications for the Schulich Leader Scholarships are now open. Twenty undergraduate scholarships (of $100,000-$120,000 each) are available for students intending to enroll in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) areas of study at a minimum of one of the 20 selected universities.
Students must be planning a career in one or more of the following areas: technology, engineering, entrepreneurship and business enterprise, applied scientific research. Students are selected by their individual schools and must possess at least two of the three criteria listed:
1. Outstanding community, business, or entrepreneurial leadership
2. Academic excellence
3. Financial need

RE/MAX 2025 Quest for Excellence
RE/MAX Canada is now accepting submissions for the 2025 RE/MAX Quest for Excellence scholarship program, which is open from September 2025 through to March 2029.
The annual program awards a $1,000 scholarship to 40 graduating high-school students in Canada, presented during their commencement ceremonies.
The 2026 Quest for Excellence program invites eligible students to write and submit an essay based on one of three key themes:
charitable community contribution
the vision for a “brighter future”
ensuring future generations have a safe, secure, and affordable place to call “home”
