Physical Education with Mrs. Porter

PE Mondays: Classes are inside and outside      &     SNEAKERS are the best footwear for class

Students made the trip over to Jackson XC to ski on the well groomed trails, including multiple hills.  Ask your students about the ski trains on multiple skis and on one set of skis, three-legged races, and the Whip It.

Snow conditions have been perfect for XC.  A nicely groomed play area in the middle of the loop allowed for Nordic games such as Turtle Tag and Red Light/Green Light/Dinosaur Egg.  A small hill provided practice for uphill and an easy no turn  downhill.  K-2 class was filmed by NH Chronicles in conjunction with Jackson XC's Youth Programs which hopefully will make the edit room cut and be aired in the future.

Grades 3-6, refining their passing skills and learning to play their position, all the while remembering positive communication is key to successful teamwork. K-2 students are learning how to hold the hockey stick, how to swing safely, and team positions.
