Dear Jackson Community,
In preparation of our May School Board meeting, I wanted to take a moment and share our updated (to be voted on during our May meeting) Citizen Comments agenda topic. Please take a moment to review process and guidelines:
Folks can sign up prior to the meeting, either via email or at the sign up sheet at the meeting, with your name and topic
The board will recognize citizens based on the sign up sheet and/or prior email request
If the agenda item to be discussed is not appropriate for a School Board meeting, the correct channel for that topic will be advised
If you are part of a committee, club, organization or the like, and it is on the agenda, we would expect you to contribute to updates regarding that agenda item, when appropriate
In keeping with the SB:410 Bill and RSA 189:74 we would remind citizens that comments regarding students, staff and/or teachers will be reasonably restricted. We live in a small community, so this can be extra difficult, and I appreciate your support
