High School Options! The Jackson School District will soon need to re-negotiate or completely change its agreement with Conway School District to educate Jackson students at Kennett High School. The High School Options committee is researching area high schools to inform the decision of the Jackson School Board.
This decision will affect JGS students in grades K-6 during the 24.25 school year, and going forward.

The Jackson School Board Survey Closes 12/12
With the end of our 20-year contract with Kennett approaching in 2027, the Jackson School Board has been looking at available options for our high school students and collecting information about Kennett High School and Fryeburg Academy. We will use this information to decide where to send our students and for negotiations.
Since March 2024, we have held multiple community sessions including listening sessions, presentations from the leaders of Fryeburg Academy and Kennett High School, a presentation from the NH School Board Association about tuition options, a presentation from the Parent Information Center about special education, and heard presentations on financial models and research updates from the High School Options Committee.

Now that we have heard from the experts, we need your feedback. We have created a short online survey to gather responses. Paper surveys are available at the Jackson Library. Please return paper copies to Jessica DellaValla c/o The Jackson Grammar School at 10 Black Mountain Rd, Jackson, NH 03846 or call Jessica at 906-281-1353 to arrange a pickup. You do not have to be a Jackson resident to complete this survey, but we ask that you please identify yourself honestly. The survey must be completed by December 12, 2024.
