Sanger ISD administrators attended an Apple Briefing on April 29th. An event designed to explore innovative ways to enhance education through technology. This briefing, hosted at the Apple offices in Austin, provided a series of interactive workshops focusing on various topics such as digital literacy, supporting early literacy with devices, engaging teaching methods, and accessibility features for our diverse student population. These workshops provided practical guidance and resources for administrators to support teachers in integrating technology effectively into their teaching practices.
We are excited to transition to a Dual Language program for our students this upcoming school year. As the emergent bilingual population grows, SISD prides itself on investing in the students we serve. The dual language program will promote biliteracy in our students, beginning in PreK and Kindergarten. As students progress through the grade levels, they will become fluent in reading, writing, listening, and speaking in their native language and English.
