Congratulations to the SHS Lady Indian Softball Team for playing in the State Tournament this season! So proud of you all and everything you accomplished!
2024 STAAR Results presented by Tina Yant.
The 2024 STAAR assessment has continued to demonstrate that school districts across the state are holding steady in the area of Reading Language Arts. These trends are seen among our district as well. As the rigor of the STAAR assessment increases, our students are continuing to meet the challenges.
Through the hard work of our teachers and students, they were able to perform at a higher rate than that of the region and state in all tested grade levels for Reading Language Arts.
Overall when comparing our student data with surrounding districts, Sanger ISD students equal or outperform students in similar school districts in most of the tested grade levels and content areas. We are very proud of Team Sanger!
Presented by Girls' Athletic Director Tracy Sykes.
Softball finished the season by going to State in Austin! We are super proud of them and everything they accomplished. The support from Sanger ISD and the community was amazing! Coach Toby Kloewer and Leala Kloewer were selected by TGCA to be All-Star Coach and All-Star Player.
Sports camps numbers have increased since last year. As far as girls' champions camp, there were 25 girls with perfect attendance. Camps coming up are volleyball and baseball.
We haven't stopped since school let out! Our coaches have been working so hard for our athletes.
Project Manager Mr. Kelly Teems provided his monthly update to the board on the construction progress for the bond projects.
