- AP Biology is an introductory college-level course in life science.
- Prerequisites: Biology I and Chemistry
- This course emphasizes problem-solving, critical visualization, data analysis, and communication skills including argumentation
- About 20% of class time is dedicated to laboratory work and data analysis
- Areas of study include biochemistry, cellular structures and energetics, genetics, cell signaling, evolution, and system interactions.
