General Relativity

  1. Works in gravity,

  2. allows and accounts for acceleration

  3. Shows relation between observer and acceleration

Spacetime tells matter how to move and matter tells spacetime how to curve.

Spaetime around the Earth is curved due to the planet's gravity

SPace and time are the same but with different characteristics, thus spacetime

Gravitation of force in and around the area of the object/observer. the energy momentun if the object's matter causes the curve. The relation between matter and space time is such that they tell each other how to behave.


Einstein then modified Newton's first law. Spaetime is curved though, so the shortest curve will suually be curved and not straight. However, this is not the final change to Newton's third law. (not the final change



Time dilation

If light speed is constant, then even though length AB > CD have the same speed has the light travelling on AB.


Light travelling on CD has more distance by using less time


Einstein managed to comibvu e GR, Gravity and acceleration by making a connection between these forces.
