Sustained Investigation

Sustained Investigation

A sustained investigation is a concentration.

It seeks to respond to an inquiry question.

This is a question that doesn't necessarily have a "right" answer.  But the question and the search for an answer should push your work!

It is a lens to look at the world though.  It is a lens to focus your vision.

It is how artists tend to work and evolve.

FHS Student Examples:

The following examples are students who used their sustained investigation as a direct approach to completing each assignment throughout the semester.

WORKING ARTISTS-

These artists, as many others do, create work in a series. Each series that an artist creates is essentially a sustained investigation.  A focus through which an artist creates or is motivated to create.

Please have this filled out for next class and have an idea (or a few) that you want to have as your focus.
