Linear Perspective 2020
A system of creating an illusion of depth on a flat surface. All parallel lines (orthogonals) in a painting or drawing using this system converge in a single vanishing point on the composition’s horizon line.

Drawing an interior space in 1 point linear perspective.
Before the summative assessment, which is drawing an actual space in linear perspective...from observation.
Please approach this assignment as practice for your summative. Make sure you feel confident drawing objects in perspective in a believable and realistic space.

ARTIST STATEMENT: This statement should discuss the process of the "Linear Perspective" unit from the formative through the summative. include proper and appropriate vocabulary. In addition to discussing the process of creating objects in one point perspective you should also defend your summative and explain how it demonstrates your complete understanding of the principles of drawing in linear perspective including location of the vanishing point as well as horizon line.
