Candy Still-Life

Criteria: Create a still life using candy. Make sure that your candy overlaps/crops off at least three edges of the border. Using direct observation (LOOKING CLOSELY) draw your candy. Pay close attention to proportion and space. Then, use watercolors and colored pencils to add a full range of values (dark to light) to your drawing. Stay away from adding black to shadows. Experiment with using an eraser to pull highlights, chalk pastels, oil pastels, and watercolors. Make sure to erase any fingerprints or smudges from your drawing when completed.
