Welcome to the Roycemore School 4th grade website!

I am Tara Skinner and I am the fourth grade teacher. I am originally from Virginia Beach, VA. I have three wonderful children and an amazing husband. I have been teaching for 17 years and I have loved every minute of it.

I have taught kindergarten, fourth and sixth grade in Virginia, Texas, North Carolina. This is my fifth year teaching at Roycemore School. In 4th grade, student learning is centered around a positive environment that promotes risk-taking and encourages students to trust themselves. I am passionate about making the learning experience exciting, challenging, and successful for all students.
