Activity 7

Now that you are a 'Sketchup' ninja, it's time to venture out into the real world. You will be "Reverse Engineering" an item for this activity by measuring an actual object and using those measurements to create a sketchup file.

Step 1- Create a new drawing

Open up a new file and start measuring!

Step 2- Find your object to draw

There are 2 objects that you can draw: The Clipboard or The Penny Hockey Game

After you have decided, grab a ruler and start measuring the length and width of the biggest dimension of this object.

Hints:

You can attempt drawing the clip,....if you want.....or here are some tricks to get a clip imported into your drawing.

When you have finished and saved it, show your drawing to the teacher to get Activity 7 signed off.
