Graphics & Animation: Activity 4

It's time to use Publisher to make a calendar. You will be making 3 months of the year, and you will be using a template to create this calendar.

Step 1- Open Publisher if you have not already

Step 2- Search the pre-loaded templates for calendar designs. Select one that you would like to use.

Step 3- Pick a future year that you would like to work with and locate a 3 month period to create. The months MUST be back-to-back-to-back. (example: January 2025 - March 2025)

Step 4- Be sure to include at least 10 important dates/labels per month. You may use birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, school events/vacations, etc.

Step 5- Finally, add art to the Calendar. Each date that you selected must have some clipart/picture located in the date-box that is associated with that birthday, holiday, anniversary, school event/vacation, etc.

(Examples: A heart on Feb 14th for Valentine's Day, Shamrock for St Pattie's Day, Fireworks for July 4th, or a Christmas Tree for December 25th.)

-Do Not repeat the same days over and over (Example: Dance Recital on the 5th, 9th, 13th, 20th, and 18th).-

Step 6- Go back and make sure that you have 10 important dates labeled (including artwork) for each month. That means 30 total!

Step 7- Once you have finished, be sure to show your teacher your completed, 3-month calendar.
