Keep Going. Keep Growing.
We all face different times in life when things are going as planned and when things are out of our control. These times where we are struggling can really work to our benefit if you we learn to manage these challenges appropriately.
Hop on Khan academy to learn how you can “Keep Going. Keep Growing”. Complete “Connect”, “Learn”, and “Reflect” to understand how to better manage your challenges and come out of it all as a better version of yourself!
During this time of uncertainty there are many individuals that are sacrificing their time with family to protect yours. Medical professionals, grocery store employees, truck drivers and many more professions that are essential to our daily lives.
A little note of kindness can go a long way in helping these individuals continue the fight and keep pushing on! Find someone you know that is an essential work and write them a note expressing your gratitude.
Feeling a little trapped inside your house? Me too!!! How about we wander over to Arches National Park and take a peek at some of the main attractions?! Or how about Denali National Park in Alaska?? Pick your very own virtual tour and enjoy the scenery.
Anyone feeling a little fearful about what’s going on? That’s ok, I think most of us are. But what you may not realize is how fear can potentially make things worse. Take some time to read this article written by Dr. Eugene K. Choi on how you can escape your “fight-flight-freeze” state and enter your “rest and digest” state.
Jigsaw Party!
Time to break out the jigsaw puzzles! You know, those boxes that are filled with little pieces of a big picture? I’m sure you have some stuffed away in a closet. Sit around a table with your family and put together a puzzle. This can be a great time to talk about life, share memories, and tell jokes!
Did you try an activity every day?
