Hi Class of 2021,
We know that junior year begins an intense journey of exploring post-high school plans and options. Many of you may be looking at different colleges and their requirements regarding GPA, personal essays, letters of recommendation and more. Thankfully, for those of you considering applying to a UC (University of California) there is one less thing to stress about. The University of California system is suspending the standardized test requirements for students applying for the 2021-2022 school year.
The Cal State Universities have also waived the standardized tests and adjusted many of their requirements.
The CSU will accept grades of "Credit" or "Pass" to satisfy "a-g" requirements completed during winter, spring or summer 2020 terms. All prior coursework must be graded and a grade of C- or better must be earned for the course to satisfy “a-g” requirements. Grades of credit/pass or no credit/non-passing will not be included in the calculation of high school GPA.
