The News Literacy Project is an amazing resource for helping students recognize and combat misinformation. News literacy is especially important in the age of AI. The lesson to the right explains how AI text and images are generated and then guides students through six key takeaways for students to consider when encountering AI-generated content. 

The Tate Museum has a free online street art creator. Students start with a blank brick wall "canvas" to create their design. The artistic tools students customize to create their original street art design include a roller, a spray can, stamps, and stickers. 

Possible street art generation topics: 

Social issues - environmental issues or mental health awareness

Historic events - important inventions or cultural revolutions

Literature and poetry - scenes from a favorite book or poem

Personal stories - share memorable personal news

Cultural celebrations - express themes like diversity, traditions, and cultural exchange 

The Ladder of Feedback was created to give students a stucture to give the kind of feedback that leads to improvement and learning. This Making Thinking Visible protocol can be used with groups of students to gather feedback on project work, drafts, design plans, visual artworks, or presentations. Students present their work in progress to other students in hopes of identifying things to rethink and consider.
