🌹February's Featured Resources 🌹

💃 Animated Drawings 🕺

Students will be amazed when their drawings come to life! Using the below Animated Drawings site, teachers can upload student drawings and pick from a variety of animated movements. There are some simple rules to follow related to the drawings that students should know before they begin drawing (must be on a white piece of paper, and must have easily identifiable arms and legs). Once images are uploaded, Animated Drawing prompts will walk you through the "next" steps needed to select a figure. Students will be able to choose and preview dancing, jumping, walking, and funny movement options before downloading as an MP4 file.

😍 Thinking of Others Templates 😍

Boast, Toast, or Roast

Boast, Toast, or Roast

Boast, Toast, or Roast gives students a chance to think about the good and the bad about another person (historical figure, artist, scientist...) or concept (totalitarianism, the Renaissance, global warming...). In the Boast section, students brag about how the person/concept is impressive. In the Toast section, students list and celebrate the person/concept's accomplishments. Finally, in the Roast section, students can explain any shortcomings and failures. File ➡️ Make a copy.

Empathy Map

Empathy Map

This Empathy Map template helps students "put themselves in someone else's shoes." While empathy maps could be incredibly useful for resolving conflicts between students, they can also help students better understand people they don't know. Have students complete an empathy map for a character in a story, a politician, or a famous entrepreneur. Directions for students are included in the space outside of the slide canvas.
